1971 MGB Roadster – Mallard Green – BC Car – Restored – Overdrive
Long‑term locally owned 1971 MGB Roadster with all the right upgrades. This has been a B.C. car since new and carries a Normal status on the registration, meaning it has never been written off or involved in a severe accident.
The car was repainted from its original colour during restoration. It now wears Mallard Green (an authentic MGB colour) with a tan interior, tan soft top, black tonneau, and black boot cover. A classic and tasteful combination.
A major drivability upgrade was completed with the installation of a fully synchronized 1972 transmission featuring overdrive in 3rd and 4th gears, making highway cruising smooth and relaxed.
Current ownership dates back to 2012.
A full restoration was completed in the early 1990s. The car was fully stripped, including glass out, and all weatherstripping was replaced. Carpeting and seats were redone, floor pans and fuel tank were replaced, and new wire wheels were installed. There is no rust present today. The car has been garage‑stored and covered since 2012.
Included with the sale are two sets of keys, floor mats, shop manual, service records from 2012 onward, spare tire on a wire wheel, knock‑off tools, jack, and a car cover.
